Welcome or welcome back Red Crossers! We began this new school year with our annual Introductory Meeting which helped us to introduce the club and Red Cross's mission to this year's members. We briefly went over what students should be expecting from the organization before moving on to our Junior Committee Lead Election! Once again, we'd like to congratulate Kida Khanooni for her new position as this year's committee lead! Please be on the lookout for information regarding our next (and quickly approaching) event! Again, welcome all to the Red Cross family! We're so excited to have you! 🫶

We kicked off the 2023-2024 PSHS Red Cross Club with our first event, Disaster Speaks - Wildfire Awareness Challenge! Officers first began by presenting a brief session on wildfire preparedness. With their newly-learned (or reviewed) knowledge, Red Crossers then embarked on an exciting game challenge that put their skills to the test with the goal of saving their burning village from a wildfire under time and budget constraints. This event aimed to raise awareness about disaster preparedness, especially in light of the Maui wildfires. Thank you to everyone who joined us, and we hope to see you again at our next event! 🧯⛑️
